Hundertwasser

Hundertwasser was a person who made brilliant drawings. He was from Austria but came to New Zealand (Which is the place where he died). After learning about him, we did some art. We used some of his art as a example. In our art, we included things like lollipop trees and mushroom domes which Hundertwasser used a lot. We also hid some eyes in our art. I tried to hide then well, but the are pretty easy to see.

Olympic Silhouette Art

This is my Olympic silhouette art. First we had to find a silhouette of a person doing a sport. Our topic for this was the Olympic games. We then cut out our silhouette and chose our colours (Cold or Hot). I chose hot colours like red and orange. We then put black PVA glue on. The next day, when the glue dried, we glued our silhouette on.

Art

This is my Kaleidoscope art. The background colour that I used had to be a cold colour and my name had to be a warm colour. 2 of the letters in my name are red, 2 are yellow and 2 are orange.

My Art Reflection

This term in art room seven did colour mixing. We were focusing to do our art the way Ton Schulten does his.  We had to pick a landscape photo and copy it onto our piece of paper. Next we copied the landscape photo from the piece of paper and we put it on another piece of paper. On the piece of paper we also drew lines in red so if you are painting in the blue every square is a different kind of blue. The landscape that I chose is the beach. It was very hard and we had to make our own colours. The only colours that we used is blue, green, red, yellow, black and white. It took us a long time but in the end I was very proud of myself.
