For this winter learning journey I had to finish off the end of a story. The story so far is this: Imagine that you are sitting in the crowd at the opening ceremonies for the Rio Olympics this August. The ceremony has just started and all of the Olympic athletes are parading around the stadium in their uniforms when all of a sudden...
My part of the story: BOOM! A loud explosion shook the stadium. The people who were inside that stadium were frozen in shock. They didn't know what happened. Then, the realization came and with it, came the panic. Many people fell over each other in the rush to escape the fateful stadium. Security ran all over the place trying to restore order. It was a terrorist attack. Luckily there were no casualties but 76 people were injured.
Hi Daniel
ReplyDeleteYour part of the story had a lot of action in a very entertaining way. I also liked how you added in a Onomatopoeia into the the start of your part of the story it got me hooked into your story.
Keep up the blogging

Great job, Daniel! You really captured my attention with the 'BOOM!' at the beginning of the story as well. Like Mia, I found it really captivating and well written. I was relieved to read that no one was killed, however 76 casualties is a significant number. Let's hope that this story is just fiction and that nothing like this happens to the athletes in Rio this winter. That would be awful, wouldn't it?
