My sandwich

If I  made a sandwich I would get a fresh bun and cut It In half. Next I would put some butter on the bun. Now I would put some cooked ham and chicken on the bun. 

Then I put cheese on the the chicken and ham. Then I put tomato sauce and mayonnaise on the cheese to add more flavor. Then I put cucumber and carrots on to make the sandwich crunchy.

 Next I put some lettuce on top of the cucumber to make my sandwich more healthy. Finally I put the top bun on and now my sandwich is complete. It was big enough to feed my whole family.

Basic Fact Games

Room 7 played with basic fact games. I played the addition and the subtraction game. I liked the addition game because I could practice my addition for Xtra math.

This is my Xtra maths results. I got 60 in a row.My goal is to get past addition and on to subtraction.I need to improve getting my basic facts correct.

Monday Quick Writes

Invisible for a day

I woke up in the morning and I jumped out of bed. I was so excited because It was Halloween. I love Halloween because I always get to scare people. I walked in to the living room where my mum was and I said 'hi mum' and then my mum screamed and said 'flying clothes' then she fainted. I quickly run out of the house and started walking on the street. Then I looked down at my hands and I saw that my hands where Invisible. Then I had a idea. I could pretend to be a ghost because it was Halloween. So I went to someone's door and I said trick or treat. A little boy answered the door and when he saw me he screamed and dropped the candy. I picked up as much candy as I could and then I ran. I went around the neighborhood getting more and more candy. When I finished going around the neighborhood scaring people. I went to the next street and I did the same thing all over again. It was dark and my bag was heavy so I thought I should go home now. When I got home I could barely see. I got in bed and fell asleep immediately.

Eastern beach

On Thursday the whole school went to Eastern beach for a school picnic. When we stepped off the bus I could see that the waves were massive and the wind almost took my hat off. First we had morning tea and then we could swim, play in the sand or play sports. Room 7 had to play in the sand first.

We made sand castles with animal drawings on them using shells and some of the people made a animal by only using sand. John, Latham and I made a sand castle together. A few minutes later it was our turn to swim in the beach. So I got my snorkel and goggles out to go snorkel diving. I could see lot of shells and seaweed all around me. I was really sad when room 7 got out because I like to swim. 

When all of the classes finished swimming  it was time for lunch. After lunch we had play around and then the bus came. So Mr Johnston said we can have a last minute swim. Then the bus came and we went back to school. At the end I was feeling awesome and happy.
