When I was doing my writing task with my writing group we came across a new word. The new word was repugnant and none of us knew what it meant. We found out it meant a vile or horrible smell. We had to write a five sentence story that included the word repugnant.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson, and Ms Kirkpatrick.

Repugnant Story
The man walked into his flat. Instantly, he threw up. A repugnant smell wafted through his nostrils and into his lungs. His flat was a chaotic mess, the furniture was tipped over, all his folders and papers were scattered around and the food that was in the fridge is now strewn all over the walls and floor. The lingering smell was coming from the rotten vegetables, the man wondered who would do this or why that person did it…
