For this PBS blogging journey activity, I have to find out the minimum height to ride the stratosphere and why I think there is a height restriction. There are two different modes of the ride, the very extreme and the less extreme. For the very extreme (360 degree swing angle) mode, the height restriction is 150 centimeters. For the less extreme (45 degree swing angle) mode, the height restriction is 130 centimeters. I think that there is a height restriction because if you are a young/small person, you could slip off your seat and fall.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson, and Ms Kirkpatrick.

Kia Ora Daniel, First I would like to say thank you for participating in the P.B.S Holiday Blogging Challenge. I like the photo of the Stratosphere. I think you have put a lot of effort into this activity. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteHi Daniel. Great blogpost. I like how you have added an image to go with your blogpost. You forgot to do the last step of this activity which was to give a reason why you think there is a height restriction for the ride (The Stratosphere). Anyways you have done a great job, keep it up.
ReplyDeleteHey Oh Hsen
DeleteSorry about that. I forget about adding the last part - I was kind of in a rush. I'll change it right now!
Thanks, Daniel
Hi Daniel.
ReplyDeleteThis blog post was great. I like how you tell us about stratosphere and what stratosphere looks like. Good work Daniel keep it up!
Greetings Daniel,
ReplyDeleteYour explanation about the Stratosphere is amazing. I like how you added a photo of the Stratosphere. I also like the way you explained the height restrictions.
Hello Daniel, great ob on completing the day 1 activity 2 task. I like the photo you used of the Stratosphere ride and how you also put the degree angle swing for both types of extreme. Keep up the fantastic posts!
ReplyDeleteHi Daniel Your doing so good again your blurb is good and also your poster is good too.
ReplyDeleteHello Daniel, it is great to see that you have completed another activity. One of your sentences doesn't make sense so make sure you double check your work before you publish it onto your blog. Besides that you are doing a great job. Keep up the awesome work.
ReplyDeleteHi Daniel!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on finishing this activity! I like how you added in the angles that the ride goes to for each setting. I have a question though: The last time you were at Rainbow's End and went on the ride how did you feel after it?
Great work!
Hi Daniel
ReplyDeleteI have seen you have commented on a lot of the holiday blogging posts. Thank you for helping to run this challenge. I agree with your reasons for the height restrictions. Don't forget you need to attribute any images you use from the Internet. Have you been on this ride? I would be way too scared!
Mrs A
Hi Daniel, I think that most of your post is great but it's just the last sentence that has a small mistake. I also agree with you with your reasons for the height restrictions. I agree with Mrs Anderson for an attribution for your image. Please make changes.
