Dance

Today, LS2 has been doing rewindable learning with our dance. We were practicing our dances for our school production. We got split into three groups. My group is doing the song Stayin' Alive and the other two groups are doing I See Red and Footloose. Yesterday, Zoe (The dance teacher) taught us the moves to our songs and because Mrs Anderson took a video of us, we watched ourselves doing the dance so if we made mistakes (Which we definitely did) we could work on it the next time we practice dancing. Thanks to watching ourselves so we could fix our mistakes, my group (Which are doing Stayin' Alive) has definitely improved a lot.

Dance Evaluation

This is my dance evaluation that I created with Calvin, Te Wai and AJ. For dance, we created a video with us doing our dance moves that we thought up. First, we worked in pairs, then we joined another pair and combined our moves to make our dance better.

Dance

Today for dance we were adding to our dance moves. My partner was AJ in this activity. We managed to come up with a couple of good actions. The next thing we needed to do was find the correct music. We had to make sure our moves would sync to the music. We also had to have a perfect timing. At the end I think our dance ended pretty good. we had good sharp angles towards the end.

Dance Session

Today, LS2 had our first session of Dance. We did it with Mrs Anderson. We had to (With a partner) make our own warm up routine. A warm up is when you prepare for a game or performance by practicing gently beforehand. My partner for this task was AJ and I really enjoyed how we could plan our own warm up instead of doing someone else's. Once we finished planning our warm up, AJ and I did it in front of two other pairs. Next time, we need to practice working in time with each other.
