For this summer learning journey activity I have to take a picture of a popular place in my community. In this picture the building is the Panmure library. It is a very popular place because I always see lots of people inside it.
What a great idea! I'm sure that the Panmure Library is a really popular place to go in the community. I often go to our local library in Titirangi because it has really interesting books, DVDs and magazines to read and to borrow. It also has big windows all across the back that face the water and some bean bag chairs that you can sit in if you want to relax with your book inside. I often take Aronui up there to read and to be part of the 'Dare to Explore' summer holiday activities. Have you or your brothers taken part in the 'Dare to Explore' programme this year?
Great photo!!! I loooove libraries - there's so much to discover at a library. I often borrow documentary dvd's as well as current movies. The documentaries are a great way to learn about something. If I find the subject of the movie interesting I go back to the library to get books about it. Do you ever do that? And I love the comfy chairs they have in libraries. Do you ever go just to read on your own?
