Summer Learning Journey

For this summer learning journey activity I have to think about whether I want to be Prime Minister or not when I grow up. I don't really want to be a Prime Minister because it seems like a very stressful job and it is probably hard.

  1. I completely agree with you, Daniel. It would be a very hard and very stressful job. As prime minister (PM) you are responsible to your family, your colleagues and the people of New Zealand. You have to be available to everyone at every moment of the day and be able to make wise decisions quickly and decisively. I really admire our previous prime ministers and our current prime minister (Mr Bill English) for tackling the job and for doing their best to represent our country.

I hope that Bill English won't find the job too taxing. He just took over the role in December 2016. Fingers crossed that he does a great job!

Speaking of great jobs, nice work with the SLJ. You are working through the activities really well. Keep it up!

    Rachel :)
