For this winter learning journey I had to imagine I was going to meet one of these three athletes: Lauren Boyle, Stuart Farquhar or Andrea Kilday. I would choose to meet Stuart because he does javelin throwing and he biggest throw was 86.31 meters. That is very impressive because I doubt that I could throw that far. It must have taken a lot of training and hours practicing.
I am so happy to see that you have chosen to meet Stuart. I think that you are the very first person on this whole journey to choose him and, for what it's worth, I think that you've made a great choice!
ReplyDeleteStuart is a veteran athlete and a really important member of the NZ Olympic team. He has a lot of experience and wisdom to share with others.
