Summer Learning Journey

For this activity I have to imagine what it would be like living with 18 other siblings. I would like that we could all participate in a big family game, but I wouldn't like it when it was time for something like pizza. Everyone would probably only get one or two slices each.

  1. Hello Daniel, I like your two reasons why you would and wouldn't like having a really big family. I think there is a sentence that doesn't make sense so you should double check your work before you publish it. Keep on working hard.

  2. Hello Daniel I like your two reasons on why you like living with 18 sibilings and not wanting to live with 18 sibilings. I agree with you when it comes to food yand there is a big family you will only get a little. Keep up the hard work.

  3. Hi Daniel, I agree with you it would be quite hard to share food with 18 other siblings. I think that with 18 other siblings could cause arguments and fights, but there are more people to hang out with and that's the good thing about it.

  4. You make a very good point, Daniel! Living in such a large family would dictate that you had to share quite a food things, including food! You would also have to share toys, clothes, games and even time with your parents. I think that I would struggle with that because I quite enjoy having my own space and being able to read a book in the peace and quiet or watch a television programme of my own choosing. Having said that, I also know that I would struggle if I lived in a really small family. I loved growing up with one sister, two parents and some pets. There was always someone to talk to and to do things with but there was also enough space to have room to play on my own.

Do you and your brothers play together quite a bit? Do you have any pets to keep you company? I grew up with a dog and, later, a cat. Taiga (our dog) was a border collie and she was great company. She loved to go for walks and she loved to have cuddles. She would often follow us around the house and lie down in whichever room we were in, just to keep us company. I miss her!

    Rachel :)
