For this activity I had to pretend I was a prime minister and I had to make up my own three laws (rules).
Rule One: Every day is a holiday
Rule Two: You don't have to go to school (or work) if you don't want to
Rule Three: Kids get $100 in pocket money every week
Daniel, I have just finished reading through your list of rules and they sound great to me! I would love to have more holidays and to have the option of working. I must admit that I really, really love my job so I would probably go to work any way but it would be pretty cool to have the option.
ReplyDeleteI see that you would also ensure that every child got $100 in pocket money each week. If you were given $100, what would you buy? Do you have anything specific in mind?
I think that I would save my money until I had enough to go on an interesting adventure with my family. I have always wanted to go to Mt Cook so I might save my money and plan a big trip to the South Island of New Zealand. It is a special place for our family because my parents have both been there but neither my sister (Leigh) nor I have had the chance to go.
I might also try to buy some of my favourite books and DVDs so that I could have something interesting to read/watch on a rainy day.
What would you do?
I'll look forward to checking in with you again tomorrow to see what you would spend your $100 pocket money on.
Until then,
Rachel
I would save up all of my pocket money for a whole year then I would travel around the world!
