Summer Blogging

For this activity I have to say which of the five landmarks from either United Kingdom, Chile, Canada, Germany and Malaysia I would go to.

I chose to go to Buckingham palace, Stonehenge, and the London eye which are all in the United kingdom. I chose to go to these places because I really want to see them and I would like to go on the London eye because it is a massive Ferris wheel, which equals awesomeness!

  1. I love your enthusiasm Daniel! I, too, believe that a massive ferris wheel is awesome. I was actually quite disappointed that I didn't make the time to ride on the London Eye when I was living in the United Kingdom. It would have been a pretty amazing experience.

From what I can remember, it was quite expensive to buy a ticket for the eye and you had to wait in a really long line (queue). I must have decided at the time that it was too expensive and/or too long to wait!

What is it about Buckingham Palace and Stonehenge that interests you? They are both quite grand and have long, rich histories, don't they? I visited Buckingham Palace but wasn't able to go inside. I did watch the 'Changing of the Guard' and the 'Trooping the Colour' ceremonies while I was in London. The Trooping the Colour is a ceremony that they hold in honour of the Queen's birthday. Did you know that she is going to be 90 years old this year? That's pretty amazing!

Do you know anyone who is 90 years old? The oldest person that I know is my partner's father. He is 100 (and a half) years old. Amazing, isn't it?

    I think so!

    Cheers,
    Rachel
