Summer Blogging

For this activity I have to post three facts about the country I chose (United Kingdom).

Number 1: The United Kingdom is made up of England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland

Number 2: Windsor castle (In England, United Kingdom) is the oldest castle in the world

Number 3: The British Library in London is the biggest library in the world.

  1. Wow! You have posted three really interesting facts about the UK. I had no idea that Windsor Castle is the oldest castle in the world. That is quite an amazing feat, isn't it?

I was also surprised to read that the British Library in London is the biggest library in the world. Given that you love to read, I bet that you would really enjoy visiting the British Library. I haven't been there personally but, from what I understand, it is incredibly big. In fact, people often get lost in the library looking for specific areas!

Thanks for posting such interesting facts, Daniel. I love learning and you are definitely teaching me things that I have never heard of before now.

    Thanks :)

  2. Hi Rachel
Windsor castle was built around 1070 by William the conqueror. Even I was surprised it was that old!

  3. Hi Daniel,

It really is incredibly old isn't it? I wonder what the oldest building in New Zealand would be. Do you know by any chance?
